1. Privacy First Philosophy

deBackground is built with a "Privacy First" philosophy. Unlike traditional background removal services that upload your photos to a server, deBackground processes everything **entirely on your device**.

2. Data Collection

We do **not** collect, store, or transmit your images. Your photos never leave your computer. Because processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly and Web Workers, we have no access to your visual data.

3. Tracking & Analytics

We do not use invasive tracking or third-party analytics that profile you. We may use minimal, anonymous technical logs to improve the performance of our local AI models, but these never contain personal information or image data.

4. Local Storage

The application may use your browser's local storage or indexedDB to cache AI models for faster subsequent loads. This data stays on your machine and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
